Milestone Session | Baby Jaxon's

I know I have said it before, but I absolutely love following along with a family as they expand and grow. It doesn’t just stop after maternity or newborn photographs. It continues to milestone sessions, smash cake sessions and beyond to graduation, engagement and more. And while milestone sessions are not as popular per se as newborn and smash cake, they are popular and an excellent way to show how much your baby has grown, the milestones they have reached, and just the overall adorableness of your baby!

So, when Baby Jaxon’s mom called to request a milestone session for her little man, I was all in! She wanted a fishing theme and I said oh! I have the perfect setup! I quickly snapped a pic and sent it to her, and she loved it so much she booked immediately! I absolutely love the backdrop…plus a few small props and this setup was magical.

When they arrived on picture day to my photography studio in Canton, let me just say this is the sweetest little family. Maybe a little shy at first, but their love for one another was just unmistakeable. Jaxon’s little smiles and coos, the parents’ gentle handling of him, their smiles and language towards each other…yep, I was here for it all! That is a beautiful thing about being chosen to capture these sessions, being center stage for the joy and love amongst family members and baby. It truly melts your heart and makes you a better person.
