Studio Newborn Session | Baby Gracey
I recently had a mama question why studio sessions are so long (2-3 hours). She was concerned that it was just too much. While I understand the timeframe can seem daunting, it is so much easier to allow us all to take a breath, release it and relax into what baby will allow. Not to mention, I do provide a charcuterie board to snack on and drinks, plus access to a full bathroom. So, you literally only need to bring what you need for baby to the session.
Studio Newborn Session | Baby Everett
That moment when you look at your little baby and realize they have changed so much in a short period of time and you wish you had gotten newborn photos of them…it was an expense that you just couldn’t justify in the moment but now you have major regrets. Yeah, that did not happen with little Everett!
Smash Cake Session | Everleigh turns 1!
A smash cake session is a special photography session to help celebrate baby turning O-N-E. These sessions are meant for the family of baby only as a way to capture their baby in a non-chaotic setting. It allows parents to relax and participate with baby in the celebration versus when they have the official party and have to attend to all of the details, guests, and baby’s needs.
Family Session | Portmann Family
Most days, I love having family sessions outdoors when weather permits. This allows the kids to be kids. Run and play and yell and laugh, and even allows for a tantrum or two with minimal options to hurt oneself or equipment. I also love nature…the colors, the leaves, the grass, the animals and more. I love it all!
Smash Cake Session | Baby Colin
What all is included in smash cake sessions? I’m so glad you asked! Sessions happen in my photography studio in Canton, GA. I provide all props. We do pre-smash pictures, smash pictures, and fruit bath with bubbles pictures. This is just a sample of the normal flow, though. For instance…
Newborn Session | Baby Silvano
I have to be honest with you. I cannot help but be thankful and grateful for clients who return to me for pictures time and again. It just reinforces for me that I have done something right…that I have achieved for that person/family what I set out to achieve, letting them know just how much they are loved and cherished and beautiful, both inside and out.
Milestone Session | Baby Jaxon's
I know I have said it before, but I absolutely love following along with a family as they expand and grow. It doesn’t just stop after maternity or newborn photographs. It continues to milestone sessions, smash cake sessions and beyond to graduation, engagement and more. And while milestone sessions are not as popular per se as newborn and smash cake, they are popular and an excellent way to show how much your baby has grown, the milestones they have reached, and just the overall adorableness of your baby!
Newborn Session | Baby Elijah
If you know me at all, you know just how much I love what I do. From maternity to newborn to baby to 1st birthdays and beyond, following alongside each family as they expand and grow is just a tremendous blessing. I always think of these sessions as celebrations I get to be a part of. I mean, how cool that I get to help celebrate the arrival of Baby Elijah by providing pictures that his family and friends can treasure through the ages?!? Helping to document this family’s expansion from 2 people to 3…Elijah’s smile, little fingers, eye lashes, and more filled my heart to overflowing.
Graduate Session | Dominic Graduates College!
I know when I say I am a maternity, newborn and family photographer folks tend to think of me only photographing young people. That’s really not the case. I love walking alongside families as they expand and grow. Which means family pictures, birthdays, events and graduation!
Smash Cake Session | Cason turns 1!
Capturing details is something I love to do for families, maternity, newborn and babies alike. I love little toes and noses and fingers and lips and more! So in a smash cake session, I will try to capture those cake smothered fingers, cheeks, lips, cake in hair, cake on booty, cake between the toes and more. We love the big picture but those detail shots really just bring it home for me.
Newborn Session | Baby Corben
One of the things folks who are close to me know is that we struggled with getting pregnant. In fact, we never had a successful pregnancy. Going through infertility treatments, IUI, IVF…all of the meds, the mental struggle, and the heartbreak really took its toll on me and my husband. We finally decided to foster and boy did our lives change overnight! Our first placement, a boy and a girl, became our loves and we ended up adopting them. Our life has truly been enriched and made better because of these two humans!
Newborn Session | Baby Mateo
One of the beautiful things about being a newborn, baby and family photographer is being able to walk alongside the family as they expand and group. To watch as mom to be becomes mom of three. To be present…to be INVITED to be a part of their celebration of wonder, new life, milestones met, first birthdays, and many other special events that happen throughout a person’s lifetime. What an honor and blessing!
Senior Session | Emily made it!
I think one of the things I love about senior sessions is hearing about their plans. You know, up until high school, parents typically speak for their children in many ways. Once they become seniors, though, they have had a huge part in post-high school planning. I love hearing college plans, if any (because let’s face it, college is absolutely not for everyone), why they chose that college, why they chose that particular academic track, and more. I want all the deets! Hearing young adults speak about their future and their dreams is truly inspiring!
Maternity Session | Dayan is Having a Baby!
Have you ever had a maternity photography session done? If so, did you walk away feeling beautiful and cherished? I sure hope you did, because you know what? You deserve nothing less than that.
