When A contacted me about her maternity session, she already had a location in mind—R Ranch in Dahlonega. She had seen images from a previous session I shot there and knew she wanted that exact spot for her maternity photos. And honestly, I couldn’t have been more excited!

The Perfect Location for a Maternity Session

R Ranch is a stunning location in the North Georgia mountains, just about an hour or so drive from Atlanta. With rolling hills, golden fields, and breathtaking mountain views, it’s the perfect spot for an outdoor maternity session. The soft evening light makes everything glow, creating that dreamy, romantic feel that so many moms-to-be love.

Wardrobe & Styling

To make the session even more unique, I brought her a couple of maternity gowns. She was a trooper and didn’t mind changing in the parking lot—it was worth it! The flowing gowns added that elegant, ethereal look to the photos, making her bump the true star of the session.

One of my favorite things about this session was how much fun we had together. Maternity sessions should be a time to celebrate the beauty of pregnancy and make memories you’ll cherish forever. The mom was glowing (seriously, pregnancy looks fantastic on her!), and we spent the entire time laughing, exploring, and capturing the sweetest moments.
