Newborn Session | Baby Everleigh

Why do I love working with newborns? They are each so different but so similar. I love celebrating the growth of a family with the parents. I love delighting in the details of the newest member of their family. I love oohing and aahing over the sounds they make…the grunts, cries, coos. I love laughing along with the parents at the vast number of facial expressions babies make during our session together…smiles, grumpy, hungry, tired, eye rolling and more! And with each baby being different but the same, all of these normal things are like experiencing them for the first time for me. Each and every time!

So, imagine my pure joy when I got the opportunity to not only capture Cason’s newborn session and Ashley’s maternity session, but to capture this little peanut’s newborn session, also! What a gift! Not long after I delivered Cason’s gallery to his mom, she let me know she was expecting again and that she wanted me to do her maternity and newborn session. Meeting this precious baby girl was such an honor. And can I just say she looks just like her beautiful mama?!?

Having the ability to work with babies in my photography studio in Canton is an absolute blessing. I have complete control over the environment, the lighting, and access to all of my props, blankets, and more.
