Senior Session | Emily made it!

I know you know how much I love mamas and babies and families, but did you know that I also enjoy working with seniors, graduates, and older? At this stage, they have fully grown into their personalities, have at least a vague idea of what they want to do with their lives, and my humor gets the best of them at times. When a teen or young adult laughs at your wit, you know you’re doing something right…or majorly wrong. LOL!

So, when Emily’s mom reached out to ask if I do senior sessions, I responded with a resounding yes! We set the date and time and decided on the location the week of. Honestly, I couldn’t make up my mind, so we gave Emily the options and she chose this gorgeous location called Green Meadows Preserve in Dallas, GA. This place has it all: meadows, flowers, barn, garden and more. And so, off we went to make an epic gallery for this bright and shining star.

As you can tell, Emily has accepted Auburn as her college home, with sports medicine as her focus. Finishing in the top of her class, she is bright, intelligent, and caring. I can tell just from our conversations together, that she’s going far, and I cannot wait to see it happen. She is super excited to begin this next season of life, and her parents are oh so proud!

I think one of the things I love about senior sessions is hearing about their plans. You know, up until high school, parents typically speak for their children in many ways. Once they become seniors, though, they have had a huge part in post-high school planning. I love hearing college plans, if any (because let’s face it, college is absolutely not for everyone), why they chose that college, why they chose that particular academic track, and more. I want all the deets! Hearing young adults speak about their future and their dreams is truly inspiring!

If you have a high school senior (or even a college senior!), I would love to connect with you to find out how I can help your family capture this special season, so that you can cherish these memories forever. So, let’s connect today!
