Smash Cake Session | Baby Colin

I just cannot help but love every part of what I do! From connecting with new people, celebrating their special moments with them, capturing those special moments, and delivering an amazing gallery. My heart overflows with joy every time I think about it.

This little man…what can I say but that I love him and his sweet family. We started our friendship when little Colin was a newborn. From newborn pictures to Christmas pictures and now this! Smash Cake pictures for his first birthday!! He was an absolute delight to have back in my studio. I had so much fun working with him and his family to bring their vision to life for his session. And just look at those curls…those cheeks…the adorable little outfit with suspenders!

What all is included in smash cake sessions? I’m so glad you asked! Sessions happen in my photography studio in Canton, GA. I provide all props. We do pre-smash pictures, smash pictures, and fruit bath with bubbles pictures. This is just a sample of the normal flow, though. For instance, with Colin’s family they really wanted an updated family picture for their wall. So, we took care of the family picture before little Colin got messy!

What would you bring for your smash cake session? A cake to smash and the baby’s outfit. Plus the baby, obviously! LOL! Smash cakes do not have to be expensive…Publix makes affordable smash cakes and they taste great, too. Just sayin'.
