Family Outdoors Session | The Preston Family

Being a family photographer means being available during those special holidays to capture the moments that are precious to our clients, even during those holidays that are typically busy already (Christmas…I’m talking about Christmas LOL!). While I can bring families into my studio in Canton, GA, my favorite thing to do is take them walking through a field with lots of interesting details or through a downtown area like Downtown Woodstock…and that’s exactly what happened with the Preston family!

Following this family around was the highlight of my day. Their little boy was sooo funny. He was so happy to see me and was super excited to have photographs taken. Let me just say, it’s not every day family members are thrilled to see me…usually there is at least one person huffing and/or rolling their eyes. LOL! So, when my little friend was excited to see me, I was so happy! He even caught on to something I was doing to get his attention, started copying me, and totally making us all laugh hysterically….including himself! We played. We laughed. We raced. Fun was had by all, and we were able to capture images that represented their family. These images will always be cherished. Oh! and they made for great Christmas gifts, too!

When was the last time you had your family portraits done? Are you happy with them? If it has been more than a year since you have updated your portraits, let’s chat. I truly believe it is so important to keep up with updating your family portraits at least once a year. This is a fabulous way to document your family’s growth, change and seasons of life, and is the perfect gift to pass down to your children and their children when they are older. I would love to help you capture images you will cherish, pass down to future generations, AND want to hang on your walls! Let’s connect today!
