Maternity Session | Sydney's Having a Baby!

I absolutely love following along with a family as they prepare for the arrival of a baby, and then as they celebrate their child as they grow. I love all of my clients, but the clients who allow me to walk along with them through this thing called life really have my heart.

I first met this family when she called asking for a photographer for their gender reveal. Oh, goodie!! When I showed up to this event, it was quite obvious they have an amazing support system. They were surrounded by friends and family, all waiting in barely contained anticipation of the big reveal. What a blessing! And then, once everyone had arrived, we found out through baseball toss what the gender of baby is…it’s a boy!!

Fast forward a few months and Sydney reaches back out to schedule her maternity session. Of COURSE I want to work with her! We set a date and she shows up ready to rock her session, along with her hubby and her mom.

I loved how they just wanted to be right there with her the whole time. Taking care of her when she changed into different dresses, helping her up, helping with fabric tosses, and just generally
BEING there. That she could feel their support was a huge blessing for her, and brought absolute joy
to my heart.

Oh, and spoiler alert! Baby came early and I just finished a newborn session with them yesterday! He is an absolute doll baby! So squishy, and tiny, and a true joy. I cannot wait to share about him!
