Maternity Session | Kristy

I absolutely love celebrating the upcoming birth with expectant mothers. In fact, it is a true honor to be chosen to be their photographer. So, when this mama reached out and wanted to sit down with some coffee and conversation, I was all for it! Having moved to GA recently, she was not able to use the photographer that they had used for their previous maternity and newborn sessions…this was definitely something that made her a little anxious. However, she KNEW she was drawn to my work and wanted to get to know me as a person to see if we would be a good fit for one another.

Lo and behold, we hit it off immediately! She brought albums with her showing what she had done with her previous births, what she was looking for and a budget in mind. May I just say, I adored looking through her albums? In fact, I was brought to tears. So much love. So much joy.

When she and her hubby arrived at the studio, they received a tour to familiarize themselves with the layout, where the food and drinks were located, etc. We then immediately got to work picking out gowns and I absolutely adored her choices!

Helping this mama walk through her session, helping pick her gowns, walking her through posing that would be both complimentary to her pregnant body and safe!, and showing her just how beautiful she is…these are just a few things I cherish from our time together. That she loves her gallery and I was able to work with her for her fresh 48 AND newborn sessions also is just icing on the cake for me.
