Studio Newborn Session | Baby Everett

That moment when you look at your little baby and realize they have changed so much in a short period of time and you wish you had gotten newborn photos of them…it was an expense that you just couldn’t justify in the moment but now you have major regrets. Yeah, that did not happen with little Everett!

His sweet mama reached out and requested a newborn session with her precious baby boy and I could not be more thrilled! As with all clients, we spoke on the phone prior to our session together, so that I had a clear understanding of her vision for the session, answer any questions she may have had, get her booked and go over what to expect when she arrives. Being able to chat via phone prior to our session allowed the family to show up already comfortable with me and confident with what to expect. Which is truly priceless, in my honest opinion!

When the family arrived, I greeted them at their parking spot. Being able to meet them there and help carry some of the many accessories needed for a new baby, helped to ease them into this experience. Walking into the studio, they immediately received a tour (nap/veg area, bathroom and studio area). They were also shown the charcuterie board waiting patiently to be snacked on and the location of the beverages, plus the layout of props and wraps and more for little Everett’s session!

Working through little Everett’s session was just dreamy. He was squishy and sleepy and completely relaxed, allowing me to capture some amazing images that quickly filled up a gallery for his mom and dad. The gorgeous, red hair and red skin tone made for beautiful pictures that they will be able to treasure forever.
